"Security think tank says future conflict may see up to 1,500 rockets a day slam into the north
Israel’s missile defense system has fallen behind the threats posed by regional terror groups, a new study published Wednesday by the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) revealed.
Hezbollah, Hamas and other Islamist organizations have advanced technologically, but Israel’s defenses have failed to keep up, warned former IDF general Meir Elran in an interview with the daily Haaretz.
According to the INSS’s multi-year analysis on possible future conflicts, northern Israel north may be hit by up to 1,500 short and medium-range rockets a day in a conflict with the Iranian-sponsored Hezbollah. Elran added that Israel will likely face attacks on two fronts — from Hezbollah in the north and from Gaza-based terror groups in the south.
Elran warned that despite the advancements that Israel has made in recent years, including the deployment of five anti-missile Iron Dome batteries and the beefing up of the IDF’s Homefront Command, relative to the potential threat posed by its enemies, the gap in preparedness has actually increased in recent years."

Weil die israelische Seeblockade keine Neuigkeit ist. Dass aber Ägypten nun neben der Schließung des einzigen Grenzübergangs auch noch alle Schmuggeltunnels zerstört, das ist in der Tat eine ganz neue Maßnahme.
Übrigens, die ägyptische Armee soll sich angeblich mit dem Gedanken beschäftigen im Gazastreifen einzumaschieren, um auch dort den Islamisten von der Hamas bis Al-Qaida offensiv entgegenzutreten. Die Panzer sollen bereits Stellung bezogen haben.

Herr Bockstette soll sich angeblich mit dem Gedanken beschäftigen , nicht auf Fragen zu antworten welche gar nicht an ihn gerichtet waren . Dieser Entschluss soll angeblich in den nächsten Tagen vertieft werden .

Es ging um seinen Ausbruch aus dem Gefängnis 2011. Dabei ist längst nachgewiesen, dass das Mubarak Regime damals zahlreiche Islamisten freiliess, um Chaos zu stiften und die Armee als Ordnungsfaktor weiter am Drücker zu halten. Hat ja auch geklappt. Das Militär ist wieder voll da.

Weil die israelische Seeblockade keine Neuigkeit ist. Dass aber Ägypten nun neben der Schließung des einzigen Grenzübergangs auch noch alle Schmuggeltunnels zerstört, das ist in der Tat eine ganz neue Maßnahme.
Übrigens, die ägyptische Armee soll sich angeblich mit dem Gedanken beschäftigen im Gazastreifen einzumaschieren, um auch dort den Islamisten von der Hamas bis Al-Qaida offensiv entgegenzutreten. Die Panzer sollen bereits Stellung bezogen haben.
Das alles muss man im Zusammenhang mit dem innerägyptischen Machtkampf sehen. Die ä. Gesellschaft ist tief gespalten. Eine weitere Militärdikatur ist keine Lösung, denn die hat die Moslembruderschaft erst stark gemacht und das Land revolutionsreif herunterregiert. Die Moslembrüder waren noch schlimmer, doch nicht lange genug an der Macht, um genügend Anhängerschaft zu verlieren. Der Umsturz kam zu früh. Und angesichts der weitgehend im Besitz der Armee befindlichen Wirtschaft wird eine Antimoslembruderschaftskoalition das Land wirtschaftlich nur weiter ins Chaos regieren, weil kein Handlungsspielraum für echte Reformen vorhanden ist. Die Situation ist fatal, alle Zeichen stehen auf Bürgerkrieg. Nicht sofort, aber langfristig. Keiner wird nachgeben.

Die Hams konzentriert jetzt ihre Anschläge in eine andere Richtung - das Ziel lautet: Den Sinai zur Ausgangsbasis für Anschläge gegen Israel zu nutzen.

"Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan on Friday threatened to sue the Times of London for publishing an open letter by a group of celebrities, academics and others criticizing his handling of anti-government protests.
Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon and Ben Kingsley were among those who signed the letter that accused Erdogan's government this week of "dictatorial rule" and of causing the deaths of five protesters who died after clashes with police.
"The press wants to throw mud to see if it sticks. The Times is renting out its own pages for money," Erdogan told reporters in comments broadcast live by NTV channel. "This is the Times' failing. We will pursue legal channels regarding the Times."

Von wegen in die Scheisse greifen . Das haben Sie mal wieder vollbracht indem Sie die Leute irreführen : Die beiden ersten Links sind von Dezember 2012 und haben strikt gar nichts damit zu tun dass es seit 8 Monaten keine Quassams gibt . Diese Erleichterung der Blockade war Teil des Waffenstillstands !
Der einzig relevante Link ist der letzte und bei dem müsst man auch noch mal sehen , ob , wie so oft , solche Entscheidungen Israels nicht von Taten gefolgt sind .
