Trump's Twitter FRENZY Reveals His Sick Obsessions and Dangerous Incompetence
... To the extent that someone with severe mental infirmities is capable, Trump is aware of the political and legal peril he is facing. And that awareness is manifesting itself in his favorite mode of communication, Twitter. Saturday's Trump Twitter feed was fraught with fury and panic as he struggled to crawl out from under the rubble of his collapsing presidency. An analysis of the tweetery is both revealing and frightening. Here, by the numbers, are Trump's Twitter tales for one day in the life of a drowning man.

Trump achieved what appears to be a record in the sheer volume of tweets with 82 for one day.
Of those, 58 were retweets.
38 were blatantly self-defensive retorts to the impeachment inquiry.
Fox News appeared in 16 of the tweets.
10 tweets bragged about his appearance at the LSU/ALA football game.
8 more were shameless (and phony) self-promotions (books, polls, etc.).
GOP Rep. Lee Zeldin was retweeted 8 times with anti-impeachment arguments.
Gregg Jarrett of Fox News was also retweeted 8 times with various Trump-fluffing remarks.
And Trump retweeted himself 9 times.

The most prominent obsession evident in this tweetstorm is that 38 (65%) of Trump's tweets were desperate attempts to shield himself from the ongoing impeachment inquiry. He has said in the past that impeachment would a good thing politically for him and his Republican Nationalist Party. Obviously, he didn't believe that nonsense himself. His singular focus on this subject exposes just how terrified he is.

The 58 retweets (70%) suggest that Trump can't keep up with the avalanche of bad news for him. So he needs to lean on the tweets of others, some of which are several weeks old. He even retweeted a month old comment by John Bolton, the National Security Advisor that he unceremoniously fired. And of course Fox News was a frequent guest in Trump's Twitter ravings.

It's also clear that Trump was bitterly hurt by reports of sports fans booing him at the World Series and the UFC fighting event. So he tried to make up for it by repeatedly posting videos of cheering crowds in bright red Alabama, where booing was expressly prohibited. Many of those videos were retweets from the Breitbart website, which isn't exactly a reliable source.

What's especially notable in this record is that there wasn't a single tweet about any substantive issue that affects the American people. Not even about subjects he often clings to, including immigration, Syria, the economy, trade with China, jobs, etc. It was an 82 tweet cavalcade of corpulent conceit. Proving that if it isn't about Trump, it isn't worthy of his attention.

There are so many reasons why Trump is an imminent danger to the United States. He is a patently incompetent manager. He maligns treasured American principles on a daily basis. His attacks on the free press as "the enemy of the people" is a de facto attack on the Constitution. He disparages the nation's intelligence community, and favors Russia over our own agencies. He behaves like a petulant infant, casting insults and reckless accusations at anyone who dares to challenge him. He mocks the settled science of climate change.

And now we can add to these threats his psychopathic narcissism that is so abundantly displayed in his tweets and other public comments. His unstable obsession with himself, and his glaring incompetence, is indisputable proof that he is a danger to America and the world. And the sooner he is impeached and removed from office, the sooner the world can exhale and experience some relief from the nightmare circus we have been suffering through.

Court Fines Trump $2 Million for Diverting Money From Veterans Fundraiser to His Campaign
A judge ordered President Trump to pay $2 million to a group of charities on Thursday, ruling that the president had broken the law by directing the proceeds from an event advertised as benefiting veterans to his presidential campaign instead.

“Mr. Trump’s fiduciary duty breaches included allowing his campaign to orchestrate the Fundraiser, allowing his campaign, instead of the Foundation, to direct distribution of the Funds, and using the Fundraiser and distribution of the Funds to further Mr. Trump’s political campaign.”

Fox’s Napolitano Questions Trump’s ‘Fitness for Office’: His Threats to Ignore Constitution Reveal ‘Character Traits’
Fox News judicial analyst Andrew Napolitano suggested President Donald Trump is unfit to serve in the White House due to his “disparagement of the Constitution he is sworn to uphold.”

Napolitano made the comments Friday during a segment on his show Liberty File on Fox Nation — which is Fox News’ subscription-only digital vertical — while outlining numerous instances in which Trump has acted in an unconstitutional and “potentially dangerous” manner.

“Here’s what else is on my radar this week: The president and the Constitution – again,” Napolitano began in a longwinded monologue that took shots at the president from a libertarian legal perspective. “In nearly three years in office, President Donald Trump has spent federal dollars not authorized by Congress; separated families and incarcerated children at the Texas-Mexico border in defiance of a federal court order; pulled 1,000 American troops out of Syria ignoring a commitment to allies and facilitating war against civilians there; and sent 2,000 American troops to Saudi Arabia without a congressional authorization or declaration of war.”

“He has also criminally obstructed a Department of Justice investigation of himself, but escaped prosecution because of the intercession of an attorney general more loyal to him than to the Constitution — the Constitution!” exclaimed the former New Jersey Superior Court judge.

Days after being fined for misusing veterans' funds, Trump urges people to celebrate Veterans' Day by donating to his campaign
If you can't thank a veteran today, do the next best thing and donate to a non-veteran!

President Trump's campaign fundraising team didn't miss a beat this Veterans Day, running a Facebook ad on Monday encouraging people to say "THANK YOU, VETERANS" by donating to the president's metaphorical war chest.

Trump, who is not a veteran, famously deferred the Vietnam War draft several times.

How Donald Trump Jr. Landed Smack in the Middle of a Right-Wing Civil War
Trump Jr. is the latest conservative celeb to be besieged by racist “groypers,” who style themselves after an obese cartoon frog.

Donald Trump Jr. had just started talking about his new book at UCLA on Sunday when someone in the audience began imitating actor Joaquin Phoenix’s unsettlingly loud laughter from Joker.
As the cackles filled the auditorium, Trump Jr. looked into the crowd, unsure whether what he was saying was really that funny.
Things only got worse from there.

Audience members began demanding a chance to question Trump Jr. and the event’s host, young conservative star and Turning Point USA chief Charlie Kirk. Over chants of “Q&A!”, Trump Jr.’s girlfriend, former Fox News host Kimberly Guilfoyle, took the mic to call her boyfriend’s detractors losers.
“I bet you engage in online dating, because you’re impressing no one here to get a date in person,” Guilfoyle said.

Unsurprisingly, that didn’t win over Trump Jr.’s critics. The trio of embattled conservative stars eventually left the stage amid shouts of “Q&A” and “America First.”
And their fringe-right hecklers, who call themselves “Groypers” in a nod to an obese alt-right cartoon toad that’s like Pepe the Frog but more racist, notched another win in their new battle against mainstream conservatives.
“What a HUGE victory today,” 22-year-old white nationalist Nick Fuentes wrote on encrypted messaging app Telegram after the event. “Cannot be understated what an incredible win we saw at UCLA.”

Whether he knew it or not, Trump Jr. had walked straight into a right-wing civil war that pits Fuentes and his allies against more mainstream conservative stars, including Kirk, podcaster Ben Shapiro, and Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX). ...

... The fight has drawn in a host of conservative personalities on either side. Conspiracy theory hub InfoWars has been generally supportive of Fuentes, describing his targets as “grifters” from “Conservatism, Inc.” Columnist Ann Coulter has retweeted messages supporting the attacks on Kirk, while writer Michelle Malkin praised the questioners in a radio appearance and downplayed the racist and anti-Semitic nature of their group.

“It’s breaking out on college campuses now,” Malkin said. “There are many young, and very intelligent and sharp nationalists that are challenging Charlie Kirk and some other members of the open-borders lobby in the Republican Party.”

Donald Trump Jr smacked around by Iraq war vet for ‘military sacrifice’ comments with challenge to enlist
Donald Trump Jr. drew outrage in the days before Veterans Day by comparing the business deals his family had to give up when his father took office to the soldiers buried at Arlington National Cemetery.

On CNN Monday, Executive Director of the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA) Paul Rieckhoff gave Trump Jr. an idea for how he could really experience that kind of sacrifice.
“Don Jr. is of age. If he wants to understand what sacrifice is about, join the military,” said Rieckhoff. “Folks like Sean Spicer and others have done it. Reince Priebus just joined the military. There are plenty of ways to serve your country. But you have to understand what the military community is all about. Comparing that to dead people at Arlington is ridiculous.”

“Unfortunately it has a tone that’s permeated this time and time again,” continued Rieckhoff. “Just last week, the president is going to be at the — his foundation is going to be fined $2 million for diverting funds raised for veterans that were put into politics. This is the charade they did in Iowa where he was going to boycott the Fox debate and raise money for veterans. Looks like the money didn’t go to veterans. It went to politics. Time and time again, there’s this politicization. I’ve brought it up on shows for three years. It’s about the core of democracy, and veterans and military folks should be off limits when it comes to politics.”

U.S. to Expand Mueller Election-Fraud Case Against 13 Russians
American prosecutors plan to expand their long-running fraud case against 13 Russians, including an oligarch known as “Putin’s chef,” accused of interfering in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, court records show.

The government said Tuesday in court documents that it will file a superseding indictment to add to the charge of conspiring to interfere with a campaign finance rule banning certain expenditures by foreign nationals.
The case, begun by then-Special Counsel Robert Mueller in February 2018, described a concerted effort by the Russians to pose as American citizens actively engaged in social media during the campaign, posting inflammatory messages designed to sow discord among voters.

A company owned by Yevgeniy Prighozin, a restaurateur nicknamed “Putin’s chef” because he catered the Russian president’s functions, opted to fight the case and hired Washington lawyer Eric Dubelier. Dubelier has repeatedly attacked the government’s decision to charge his client with conspiracy to defraud the U.S. and related charges, demanding the prosecutors show how his client knowingly violated any statute.

The government said the superseding indictment will not add any new defendants and that it should not affect a scheduled trial date of April 6, 2020.

The case is USA v. Internet Research Agency, 18-cr-00032, in U.S. District Court, District of Columbia.

Stephen Miller’s Affinity for White Nationalism Revealed in Leaked Emails
In the run-up to the 2016 election, White House senior policy adviser Stephen Miller promoted white nationalist literature, pushed racist immigration stories and obsessed over the loss of Confederate symbols after Dylann Roof’s murderous rampage, according to leaked emails reviewed by Hatewatch.

The emails, which Miller sent to the conservative website Breitbart News in 2015 and 2016, showcase the extremist, anti-immigrant ideology that undergirds the policies he has helped create as an architect of Donald Trump’s presidency. ...

Trump Tells Crowd Ivanka Has Created 14 Million New Jobs
At a speech to the Economic Club of New York today, President Trump declared that his daughter, Ivanka, has personally created 14 million new jobs. The president announced this figure — so astonishingly ludicrous it would embarrass a Stalin-era pronouncement — and then repeated it twice more as the crowd applauded politely.

The entire U.S. economy has created fewer than 6 million new jobs since Trump took office. So Trump is crediting his daughter with having personally created more than 200 percent of all new jobs in the United States. This is like supply-side economics but for authoritarian nepotism.

http://nymag.com/intelligencer/2019/11/t...n-jobs-lie.html

The insanity truly has no limits. But his moronic following eats it right up. Any shit he says.

Und morgen wird Major A.D. nahal die Job creation numbers hier wahrscheinlich zu bestaetigen versuchen. :-)

More than 9,100 stores are closing in 2019 as the retail apocalypse drags on — here's the full list
The staggering rate of store closures that rocked the retail industry over the past couple of years is expected to continue in 2019, with more closures expected this year.

Retailers closed a record 102 million square feet of store space in 2017, then smashed that record in 2018 by closing another 155 million square feet, according to estimates by the commercial real-estate firm CoStar Group.
"This year we are predicting more of the same in the retail space," CoStar senior consultant Drew Myers said.

Retailers have announced more than 9,100 store closures so far this year, according to an analysis by Business Insider.
