Inside the New Push to Expose America’s White Supremacist Cops
Fourteen years ago, the FBI documented racist infiltration of law enforcement in America. Now members of Congress want the full story.

In 2006, the Federal Bureau of Investigation knew America’s police forces had a white-supremacist problem. But the internal report the agency compiled that year was so heavily redacted that almost no one knows what it contained.

Now, amid national protests over police brutality against Black Americans and new scrutiny of racist cops, lawmakers are pushing for the report’s full release.

A nearly blank version of the October 2006 report, titled “White Supremacist Infiltration of Law Enforcement,” has circled the internet for years, after it was released in a Freedom of Information request. The few unredacted lines are worrying: In addition to warning of historic attempts by groups like the Ku Klux Klan to gain employment with police, it refers to white-supremacist leaders’ “recent rhetoric” calling on followers to infiltrate police forces.

As the country grapples with racist policing—both overt and in the form of unconscious but often deadly biases—28 members of Congress are calling on the FBI and Justice Department to release the full, unredacted document, which some experts say is more relevant than ever.

“This report is more than 14 years old,” Rep. Norma Torres (D-CA), who spearheaded the effort last week, told The Daily Beast. “God knows where these officers that were looked at back then are in the rank and file of our police departments.” ...

Reddit bans The_Donald forum as part of major hate speech purge
Reddit says it is banning its controversial subreddit channel r/The_Donald, one of the company's largest political communities and a longstanding hub of support for President Trump, along with 2000 other subreddit groups and users that violate new content policies aimed at hate speech.

Why it matters: Reddit becomes the latest social media platform, in the wake of George Floyd's death and the ensuing protests, to take action against Trump or his supporters for violating rules or misleading users. ...

...Changes include limits on the ways Reddit channels and users upvote or post content that:

* mocks people with physical disabilities;
* describes a racial minority as sub-human and inferior to the racial majority;
* argues that rape of women should be acceptable and not a crime;
* expresses revulsion that people of color have the right to vote.

Reddit also expanded one of its rules to more explicitly prohibit attempts to organize spammy or inauthentic efforts to manipulate the platform.

...What's next: Expect Republican lawmakers to push back. Earlier this month, Republicans in Congress wrote a letter to Reddit threatening to take action against the tech company if it tried to censor the The_Donald.

Of course they will. trumski's Repugnians need their "good christian" derogatory and hate speech.

S. Dakota Gov. Noem says 'we will not be social distancing' at July 3 celebration with Trump at Mount Rushmore
Thousands of people are expected for the event. Masks are optional, too.

South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem says the thousands of people who attend the July 3 celebration for Independence Day at Mount Rushmore with President Donald Trump will not be required to practice social distancing despite an increase in coronavirus cases across the country.
"We will have a large event at July 3rd. We told those folks that have concerns that they can stay home, but those who want to come and join us, we'll be giving out free face masks, if they choose to wear one. But we will not be social distancing," Noem, a Republican, said in an interview Monday night on Fox News' "The Ingraham Angle." ...

Bruce Lee's daughter on 'kung flu': 'My father fought against racism in his movies. Literally.'
“Let what other people are saying or doing be a reflection of them and not a reflection of you," Lee said.

Shannon Lee, daughter of legendary martial artist and pop culture icon Bruce Lee, denounced President Donald Trump’s use of the term “kung flu” as a nickname for COVID-19. She also shared thoughts on harnessing the philosophy of kung fu to overcome the insult.

trumski is a racist fuck, everybody knows it. Always has been. And everybody knew that too. Always.

Catholic pastor in Indiana faces backlash for calling Black Lives Matter protesters 'maggots and parasites'
A Catholic diocese in Indiana is facing calls to remove a local pastor after he compared the Black Lives Matter movement and its demonstrators to "maggots and parasites.”

“Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and the other nefarious acolytes of their persuasion are not the friends or allies we have been led to believe,” Rothrock continued. “They are serpents in the garden, seeking only to uproot and replant a new species of human made in the likeness of men and not in the image of God.

“Their poison is more toxic than any pandemic we have endured,” he added.

The message and church’s staff contact page have since been taken down, according to the outlet.
The newly formed advocacy group Carmel Against Racial Injustice called on Bishop Timothy Doherty of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana to remove Rothrock from leadership and require training and ongoing education for priests and deacons on systemic racism and diversity.

“Silence is the action of being complicit in injustice,” the group said in a statement, sharing screenshots of the pastor’s now-deleted post. We are calling upon parishioners of the church, members of the community, and other religious leaders to denounce these statements and join us in active protest of this position. We can not stand idly by and allow a leader of a church that serves 6,000 Carmel families to pass off hateful and racist rhetoric as gospel.”

Aber siehe da, "the times they are achanging".

"But for my view, I believe that there should be no more babies."
-- Interview with John Parsons, 1947

"The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it."
-- Woman and the New Race, Chapter 5, "The Wickedness of Creating Large Families." (1920)

“I accepted an invitation to talk to the women's branch of the Ku Klux Klan... I was escorted to the platform, was introduced, and began to speak...In the end, through simple illustrations I believed I had accomplished my purpose. A dozen invitations to speak to similar groups were proffered.”
-- Margaret Sanger, An Autobiography, published in 1938, p. 366

“Eugenics without birth control seems to us a house builded upon the sands. It is at the mercy of the rising stream of the unfit.”

"Key to BLM’s strategy is suppressing free speech and dissent, by means of force and intimidation if necessary. And so it has come to pass that if you stand on the sidewalk to oppose a protest, you will get a concrete shake bounced off your head, (the assailant will not be charged) and a tweet of repute will result in a pink slip. The Orwellian media — a force multiplier for BLM’s messaging — seems not to notice the suppression of free-speech rights. Heck, they don’t see riots and fires before their cameras."

Second tribal leader calls for removal of Mount Rushmore before Trump visit
A second South Dakota tribal leader called for the removal of the four sculptures on Mount Rushmore, which is carved into land sacred to the Lakota Sioux.

"Nothing stands as a greater reminder to the Great Sioux Nation of a country that cannot keep a promise or treaty than the faces carved into our sacred land on what the United States calls Mount Rushmore,” Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Chairman Harold Frazier said in a statement, according to USA Today.
Frazier also criticized President Trump’s and South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem’s (R) plans for a July 3 fireworks display at the monument, according to the newspaper.
"We are now being forced to witness the lashing of our land with pomp, arrogance and fire hoping our sacred lands survive," he said. "This brand on our flesh needs to be removed and I am willing to do it free of charge to the United States, by myself if I must."

Oglala Sioux President Julian Bear Runner has also called for the removal of the monument, which he called “a great sign of disrespect” last week.

The federal government initially granted the Sioux ownership of the Black Hills, where the monument is carved, in an 1868 treaty, but the U.S. government reclaimed them in 1876 as part of a series of post-Civil War campaigns against Native Americans after gold was discovered in the Black Hills. A federal court awarded the tribes $17.1 million for the territory in 1979, but the Sioux Nation declined the money rather than give up their claim on the Black Hills.

The monument was carved by artist Gutzon Borglum, a known member of the Ku Klux Klan.
The mountain has long been a flashpoint for Native American activists. In 1971, protesters affiliated with the American Indian Movement occupied the monument and dubbed it “Mount Crazy Horse,” and protesters affiliated with the activist group NDN Collective are set to stage a protest during Trump’s visit this week.

Noem has clashed with both Frazier and Bear Runner earlier this year as well, threatening legal action against their respective tribes for coronavirus checkpoints on the roads in and out of their reservations. Frazier and Bear Runner invoked tribal sovereignty, while Noem said they were interfering with federally and state-owned roads.

Rechtzeitig zum 4. Juli und trumski's grandstanding dort. Rubbing it in to the minorities once again and making it clear that they don't count. And that with great pomp and circumstance.

And all that while the country is embroiled in racial discontent, ongoing critical historical introspection, a collapsed economy, a roaring pandemic -and on top of all that a scandal of treason or ineptness with the Russians.

A super election campaign strategy.
